Apostle Willis' call and anointing was recognized by Mother Helen Stevenson of Shreveport, LA. Mother Helen encouraged Apostle Willis to follow after the things of God. Apostle Willis then traveled the United States evangelizing before opening the doors of Highway to Heaven Love Ministry. She received the vision from God for Highway to Heaven Love Ministry in 2004 on three occasions before the doors were finally opened. Acting in obedience, she opened the doors on June 21, 2004. In 2009, the Lord gave her the vision for Highway to Heaven Love Ministry (#2) in the region of Charlotte, North Carolina. She is joined with her husband Pastor Curtis Willis as Overseers of Highway to Heaven Love Miissty Houston Texas and Highwy to Heaven Love Ministry North Carolina.

Apostle Willis' love and compassion for people makes her a woman after God's own heart. She displays that "agape" love that is of God. She lives and teaches that life of holiness that is acceptable unto God. She states: "When one thinks of the phrase 'Highway to Heaven', ones Spirit can not miss the thought of heaven. We are all on a Highway to Heaven, where our Savior awaits us.
